Candle Care

Our candles can provide you with up to 80 hours of soft, tranquil ambience, but maintenance of your candles is crucial to ensure you will get the best results. We suggest the following tips and tricks to keep the flame alive for as long as possible. Strike a match and get ready!

Store candles in a cool, dry place. Keeping your candles in an environment that is room temperature (or lower) is the best way to ensure they remain in their original condition.

Avoid burning candles in drafty rooms in your home. Ceiling fans and vents will inevitably cause uneven burning, which leaves debris around the edge of the jar. A moving flame is more likely to flicker, smoke, and reach too high, presenting a safety hazard.

For optimal permeability, burn 2-3 hours minimum. Keep your candles burning for a brief window of time before extinguishing them. Let the candle wax melt to the edge of the glass before putting it out.

Trim the wick. ONLY if you notice the wick beginning to “mushroom” over time, remove the carbon build-up by lightly pinching or trimming the excess soot off. We recommend monitoring a ¼” wick. Too much wick and your little candle will not burn as brightly!
